The 10th edition of the PROTEGER Conference will take place from 17 to 19 November 2026 at the Estoril Congress Centre (CCE).

As a national and international benchmark in the field of security, the PROTEGER Conference brings together experts, academics and professionals of recognised standing in the sector, promoting debate, knowledge sharing and innovation in the following areas: Fire Safety, Electronic Security, Safety in the Transport of Dangerous Goods, and Occupational Health and Safety.

This event represents a significant milestone in the collaboration between public and private entities, aligning efforts to strengthen security and collective well-being in an increasingly challenging and interdependent context. The 10th edition will be guided by the theme “Security Culture”, with particular emphasis on the dimensions of Sustainability, Digitalisation and Resilience. These are essential pillars for building safer societies that are better prepared to face emerging challenges.

With the aim of involving the main national and international bodies linked to the safety sector, the event is supported by a Scientific Committee, whose role is fundamental in the design and development of its programme.

The PROTEGER Conference is aimed at a diverse and highly specialised audience, encompassing professionals, decision-makers, researchers and institutions whose areas of activity converge on strengthening a culture of integrated, resilient and sustainable security.

This edition will feature exclusive new elements, notably the launch of the Innovation Hub – a space dedicated to sharing knowledge, technology and best practices – the exclusive use of the CCE space, and the use of the Grand Auditorium. The Conference will take place in this auditorium, where topical issues relating to sustainability, digitalisation and resilience will be presented and discussed. The Proteger Auditorium has a capacity for 600 participants and is equipped with an advanced projection system comprising high-definition projectors, ensuring presentations with great visual impact and excellent visibility from anywhere in the room.
