The 10 th edition of the PROTEGER Conference, a national and international benchmark in the field of safety and security, will take place from 17 to 19 November 2026 at the Estoril Congress Center.

As a national and international reference in the fields of safety and security, the PROTEGER Conference brings together recognized experts, academics, and industry professionals, fostering discussion, knowledge sharing, and innovation in the following areas: Fire Safety, Electronic Security, Transport of Dangerous Goods, and Occupational Health and Safety.

Under the theme “Safety & Security Culture”, the 2026 edition focuses on Sustainability, Digitalization, and Resilience—essential pillars for building safer societies that are better prepared to face emerging challenges.

This edition will feature exclusive highlights, including the launch of the Innovation HUB, a dedicated space for sharing knowledge, technology, and best practices; the exclusive use of the Estoril Congress Center; and the use of the Grand Auditorium, with a seating capacity of 600 participants.

Another new feature is the Call for Papers, open until 31 March. Presentation proposals should be submitted to comercial@apsei.org.pt .
