CFPA Europe has elected CEO Elisabetta Carrea as chair of the association. She takes over the chairman’s baton from Jesper Ditlev (CEO, DBI in Denmark), who after 11-12 successful years as chairman had announced that he was not running for re-election. The decision was taken last Thursday at the CFPA Europe’s General Assembly, this year held in Wallisellen.
Elisabetta Carrea has been working for CFPA Europe’s Swiss member the Swiss Safety Center since March 2018, and has since January 2021 been their CEO. She took a PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2001 from Polytechnic University of Turin (Politecnico di Torino), and has before Swiss Safety Center been working for Swiss Association of Water and Gas, Pöyry Energy AG, and Alstom Power.
We welcome Elisabetta and we are grateful for the work that Jesper has done as an inspiring and ambitious chairman.
