Learners will be able to:

  • Understand how to investigate incidents and confidently carry out an investigation and be able to explain the process and report the results.
  • To be able to appreciate why it is necessary that incident investigations are carried out.
  • To be able to explain describe and discuss how human and organizational factors contribute to incidents and to be able to recognise and explain these factors.
  • To be able to implement different methodologies of investigation and to demonstrate and be able to select
    the most appropriate method.
