Euralarm is the voice of fire safety and security industry, providing leadership and expertise to the industry, the market, policy makers and standardisation bodies. Euralarm Security section is active in the intrusion, access control and video sector and is a key stakeholder in organisations such as CertAlarm, CEN-CENELEC, IEC and the European Commission. Involved in standardisation groups, the section closely follows technological developments and regulations and informs its members. In addition, Euralarm conducts lobbying activities at national and European level.
For ANPI, joining Euralarm’s Security section offers the opportunity to gain expertise on European markets and to take advantage of the opportunities they may offer. In this way, ANPI will benefit from political expertise and understanding of EU policy, but even more so, establish personal contacts with technical and political experts as well as potential business partners. Being part of Euralarm allows to ANPI to extend its expertise in standardisation. Euralarm provides a voice for its members at the European Commission to support and guide the standardisation and regulatory processes that affect them. Euralarm members, of which ANPI is now a part, make society safer and more secure through fire detection systems and services, fire suppression systems, security systems and alarm reception centres.
