CFPA Europe Training Commission meets in Cologne to strengthen European training standards

Last week, the CFPA Europe Training Commission met in Cologne, Germany, to discuss ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the consistency and quality of training programmes across its member countries.

The meeting focused on updating course content, sharing experiences and best practices among national associations, and identifying future training needs in the fields of Fire Prevention, Security and Natural Hazards.

The Training Commission plays a key role in harmonising training programmes across CFPA Europe’s member countries, ensuring common standards that support the awarding of the CFPA European Diploma, European Certificates and Attestations.

Alongside these European qualifications, each national association also develops complementary training programmes tailored to its specific needs and requirements, which may lead to the awarding of national attestations.

Through continued collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Training Commission reinforces CFPA Europe’s commitment to high-quality training, professional development and the harmonisation of standards across Europe.
