Grenfell, 8 years later… Are facade claddings still a problem?

Combustible façade cladding, inadequate smoke ventilation, absence of an automatic extinguishing system, a questionable evacuation strategy, and fire doors that failed to resist… The final report of the inquiry into the Grenfell Tower fire in London, published in September 2024, highlighted a chain of failures at all levels of responsibility.

More than eight years after this disastrous fire, which cost 72 people their lives, what is the current situation regarding the role played by façade claddings in the uncontrollable spread of the fire?

During this webinar, we will review the lessons learned from this disaster, the current situation, and the measures taken concerning the combustibility of façade claddings.
