Separately bookable VdS expert conferences on six areas of fire protection will take place as part of the VdS-FireSafety Cologne on December 3 and 4, 2025.
A large international trade fair on all areas of preventive fire protection, live demonstrations of the latest technology, the VdS-FireSafetyTalk, a high-quality lecture program on the trade fair stage and a new special area on structural fire protection: this colourful offer is open to all visitors to the VdS-FireSafety Cologne.

Another highlight are six first-class, extremely popular VdS expert conferences, which can be booked separately. It is ideal to combine a visit to the expert conference with a tour of the adjacent exhibition hall during the breaks and before and after the conference.

VdS expert conference Fire Extinguishing Systems international, German/English, 3./4.12.2025
As every second year, the traditional expert conference "Fire Extinguishing Systems" will take place over two days, with international topics and simultaneous German/English translation. The topics include:

The two-day expert conference is extremely popular every year. It is recognized as professional development for fire safety officers in accordance with German regulations (vfdb, DGUV and VdS) and comprises 16 teaching units.

Trade fair visit included
All visitors to the conferences on December 3 and 4 will have free access to the adjacent exhibition hall. Here they will benefit from the large trade fair with exhibitors from many countries, live demonstrations, a varied supporting program, job board and Meeting point Training & Career – as well as a wide range of networking opportunities.

Special area on structural fire protection
A highlight is the new special area “Structural fire protection” on around 150 m². Live demonstrations will bring applications and products from the field of structural fire protection to life. The special area will be accompanied by its own forum, which will offer selected neutral specialist presentations on the topic.

Professional program on the fair stage
The stage in the exhibition hall offers three forums: the “Future Forum Fire Protection” with presentations on important future topics, the exhibitor forum on innovative solutions and the VdS-FireSafetyTalk. Here, experts will discuss current industry topics in 90-minute panel discussions.

This time, more than 170 exhibitors and over 5,000 visitors are expected over the two days. The event will be opened by the Mayor of Cologne, Dr. Ralf Heinen.
