The 3rd International Conference on Fire Protection of Structures will take place in Athens on 5 and 6 April 2024.
The conference will host engineers, professionals, scientists, producers, fire fighters and public officials.
There will be a variety of issues that will be presented / discussed, both of European and Greek interest / point of view, including the experiences of almost 6 years from the implementation of the Greek Building Fire Protection Regulation, its updating, the creation of a National Network of Testing Laboratories, the requirements for trained, specialized human resources, both at the level of engineers and craftsmen, the new requirements that emerge due to electrification and the categorization of buildings in terms of Fire Protection. Special attention will be given to tall buildings, as well as to the implementation of the new Fire Protection Regulation of Buildings within or near forests.
The conference will be hybrid, so it is possible to follow on line. The presentations will be in Greek (with simultaneous translation in English) or English.
